"sweet, expressive, and reassuring, Poggle may be just the ticket for restoring the equilibrium of a wigged-out toddler."--Publishers Weekly "Whenever I read anything pirate related I can’t help but think of my friend’s adorable 4-year-old son. He loves pirates and books and I think he will enjoy Poggle, the cutest dragon I’ve ever seen. Poggle and his best friend Henry spend the day playing pirates on the beach when they discover treasure! The mysterious treasure turns out to be an egg and Poggle and Henry must find a way to keep it warm in order to find out what hatches. An extremely cute story line about two best friends with appealing illustrations." -- The Magic Hour |
"Poggle is a most enchantingly funny dragon who lives in a small blue hut overlooking the sea. It's snug and cosy and full of his favourite things. Today, Poggle and his friend, Henry, are searching for the perfect birthday present. But what they find isn't quite what they were expecting...This is a gorgeous picture book written with delightful humour and truly memorable characters." -- The Magic Hour "There are many dragons in children's literature, but none is quite as cute and cuddly as pudgy blue Poggle . . . this resourceful little dragon will resonate with young children." -- Booklist |
